Well..... everyone has different reasons for joining scouts.

For starters, there are lots of activities to get involved in, such as climbing, camping, canoeing, archery, pioneering etc.

On the regular Friday nights we regularly play new games, both inside and out, as well as doing more challenging things. Recently, we have built a camera out of little more then a cardboard box; built a working radio out of a few bits of wire and a couple of basic components; lit fires (with no paper) and cooked a meal..... Every term we try to have a weekend camp (see the gallery for photo's from the latest ones) and in the summer we go away for a week. Last year it was a week in Dorneywood with activities from kayaking and dragon boating to climbing and a day at a theme park!. This year, some scouts are off to Lochernhead for a fun filled ten days!. Our camps are always a mixture of traditional camping and exciting activities.

Most of all its the scouts that make it most fun - and that's what its all about!
